What we found, I'll leave for another trip there.

Went to Bras Bassah to get some stuff and replace my missing Tech pen. Since I was in the area, I thought I'd collect my dad's Martin DC 16 GTE

Master Chief for Halo, playing since Halo CE

My Spartan with My brother's Spartan relaxing near a waterfall to show my gamer side. Even though I am, or rather was hardcore to an extent (hinted by my flaming helmet) I know how to chillax and just have fun without letting the score get to my head.

The top pic represents what I believe that faith brings people together like no other.

The waterfall is to represent my tranquil side that I usually don't show.

The bottom right album art is there to represent my dominant music genre favorite which is Praise & Worship.

The 2 pics bottom center is to represent my outward vocal stand point on Who I believe in. Unafraid, unashamed.

The Cross in the center indicates that Christ is my core. My reason for living.

Kinda deep no? But then again, if you know me, this comes as no surprise.

Gotta think of 3 designs for Des Fun.

Once bitten, twice shy.

At the very mention of 2 CCA, my mum starts freaking out. Hell. She won't even let me try for a while to see if I can cope. Given all my church activities and all, I can see why, but I'm not entirely sure if she knows what I'm thinking.

At least let me try for a while and see if I can manage this time. For F**k's sake, let me see what happens now compared to back then. Let me prove to you that I'm not the same kid from 4 years ago. >:(.

Well, that's my first mini rant. one last set to go. Wonder how I'll fair overall.

After which comes my postcard. I know what I want to do.

Well, this assignment is to design a post card that describes us with a single color, mine being green.

If I could draw, I think I could do a little something. Guess I'm falling back to cut and paste printouts and paste with a cello-paper overlay.

Game testing. Fun or not?

At first glance, the hook seems to be the thril of playing games before they ship. However, don't let that fool you.

Depending on what is being tested, it can either be fun, or sian. XP

Eg:Fun being multi-player where bug discoveries and weird glitches call for plenty of goofing off.

Eg:Sian ensuring a playable space will work all the time by rerunning a sequence over and over again till XP like in Halo Reach

Well, that's out of the way, I guess I should give my 2 cents worth on my experience so far with Crysis 2

When I jumped in, I was taken to an intro movie to mask the loading time. As C.O.D like as it is, it was done with quality on par or even surpassing C.O.D 6. Afterwhich I was taken to a submarine that comes to blows and graphically, I can say this. Is. Awesome!

The first achievement will call for a few giggles if you know what it refers to. ^^

The Nanosuit functions like nothing I ever seen before. Armor powers Cloak and Armor works like a dream, giving us a tacitcal choice between tanking or stealth. (The stealth kill is not as smooth as Reach's Assasination though)

What we can do with our weapons and suit upgrades feel reminiscent of Rainbow 6 where we can pimp our guns to what we see fit with a silencer, a grenade launcher and various scope/sights, wow. Wonder what I can do with that SCAR? Hmmm.


Gameplay wise, it feels similar to Halo, more like Halo 3 where we have options on how to terminate the enemy. More so by the tone "tactical options, available" where we take a look around and analyse how to deal with the situation. You can either go Armor mode and unleash hell on all in your way or Stealth your way through systematically dispatching foe by foe. This adds for some replayability as the same scenario can be entertained in multiple fashions.

Plot wise, the story so far for me is centered around the Nanosuit 2.0, a biological symbiotic suit that bonds with the wearer granting him all the abilities presented in game. Despite a slow start, the questions at the beginning were answered later on throughout the game, making for an immersive experience to the extent that I almost forgot I had a lecture today. =(

I have yet to try the multiplayer so no comment on that yet.

All in all, Crysis 2 is a beautiful piece from a graphical standpoint, plays well combining the best from at least 3 AAA shooter titles and presenting them in a way that works. Will repost and update this when I'm not so sleepy. =(

-My favourite genres are CCM (Contemporary Christian Music), Gospel, Praise & Worship and Christ centered in general. That does not mean I'm a stranger to alt rock, metal, etc. You name it.

My childhood fantasy obsessions are Angels and Paladins

Gaming is a passion, second only to my Christian walk

I'm mainly a console gamer and I love to act out various animations from what I see.

I'm a big fan of First Person Shooters (Namely Halo and Crysis) and RPGs. (Bioware ftw)

I like action games in general but Assassin's Creed & God Of War are tops for me.
